Photoshop Q&A: How do I get a Tiff or jpeg file to open in camera raw?
From Adobe Bridge navigate to the file you like to open. Right Click and choose “Open in Camera Raw”
Why would some one want to open a file in camera raw? Camera Raw settings can be applied to the jpegs and Tiffs without opening in photoshop. Files can be altered like that of light room and aperture. You can also batch process groups of images and save out files in other sizes and formats.
