Photoshop Tip: Speed Up Your Actions

This is a quick and easy one:

If you are running an action that adds layers, you can speed up the rate of the action if you hit the “Tab” key to hide your panels.

We’ve got super speedy Mac Pro’s here, so it has nothing to do with speeding up a slower computer, it must have something to do with Photoshop generating a visual preview of the layer.

When your action is complete, hit tab again and bring your panels back.
